Creating art has been Christina Meriah’s passion for over 30 years. Christina is primarily an oil painter, but she also works in mixed media collage and digital art.

Christina paints landscapes, nature scenes and divinely inspired paintings of mandalas (circular shapes and symbols) and sacred images. Christina captures the beauty of the natural world with her bright colors and unique use of light. In the mandala paintings, Christina applies a variety of brush strokes and a brilliant color arrangement to give the illusion of images that vibrate and move around the canvas.

Christina is an experienced painter and muralist. Her collection is a representation of 20 years of work ranging from 12 x 18 to 36 x 48 inch canvases. Prints are available of many of the original pieces. As a mural painter, Christina has completed 15 murals; including murals of landscapes,
religious themes and cartoon characters. She has created murals for businesses, civic organizations, theatre groups and homeowners. One of her most prostigious murals is a landscape of a Colorado mountain resort “Vallecitio Lake” on a concrete wall on the Bayfield Public Library Building in Bayfield Colorado.

Christina views creating art as a sacred experience. She feels that she is divinely inspired to depict the beauty in the world and it is her hope that her art brings joy and a sense of peace to all who view it.
