"Ever since I was a kid, if I had to have a present for someone, I'd draw it. I'd draw with a pencil or pen, whatever I had available. Now that the kids are grown, I've really taken off. The Artist Guild has given me great motivation. Painting is my way of seeing what's really out there. It's my way of portraying the love that's in creation. Until you paint them, you don't really look at the trees or the sky. I mostly have been painting seriously for the past ten years or so. I paint for myself and my family." Cindy Opacki
