Fay Morrisson has worked in many capacities and different mediums including commercial art and advertising, charcoal, pastels, watercolors and oils. Since retiring from a career in education, Fay has taken lessons from Willie Crockett, Terry Buckner, Joan Sanders, Marcus McClanahan, Mary White and Connie Winters.

She enjoys the fluidity and dynamics of watercolors and the impressionistic application of oils and gets inspiration from plein air painting and from photographs taken in her travels in the United States and Europe.

Membership:  Waterway Art Association, Brunswick County Council of the Arts, Shrewsbury Artists Guild, the Grafton Cultural Council and the Grafton Fine Arts and Music Festival Committee. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries in North Carolina and exhibited in many other venues. She is an active member of the arts community in North Carolina and in Massachusetts.
