Marjorie is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO School of Art and Illustration.
She majored in advertising designs. After spending a number of years in the advertising business, she retired to raise a family.

In later years she resumed her interest in art and painting, focusing on watercolor painting. Her work tends to be realistic with diverse subject matter, including watercolor portraits.
